Feeding the Soul
By Tabitha Brown
I’ve read a lot of self-help books and memoirs, to the point that when I picked up Tabitha Brown’s Feeding the Soul, I was certain that there was no possible way, this book would be any different from the other ones I’ve read. Feeding the Soul is such a life-changing read, I swear this book has single-handedly had the most positive impact on my life. What I love most about Feeding the Soul is that it doesn’t feel like self-help. It reads as if your guardian angel is sitting in front of you, helping you identify all the way ways that you’re sabotaging: rigid thinking, overthinking, creating narratives in your head that affirm failure etc. If you have big dreams and have been feeling stuck for a while, this book could literally save you.
Untamed
By GLENNON DOYLE
This book is so popular, I feel like there really is no need to explain how amazing it is, but I will. Glennon Doyle’s Untamed is a book about one woman’s journey to abandon the worlds expectation of herself, so she could stop people pleasing and start living a full, authentic and joyful life.
If you feel like a caged woman, this book slaps you so hard in the face, by the end of the first chapter, I was shaking and crying. I could not believe how exposed I felt, and how long I’d been living, hiding from the world.
Discontent is evidence that your imagination has not given up on you. It’s still pressing, swelling, trying to get your attention by whispering: “Not this.”
Everyday Magic
By Mattie James
My personal motto: you cannot wait for big things to happen before you start celebrating your life. Every day is life worth living (well).
Much of this was inspired by my own experiences, my obsession over my accomplishments, and how much time I wasted being unhappy due to this obsession—but also, it was largely inspired by Mattie James, a woman who helps women find the joy in everyday life.
As a new mom, I’ve sat in this gray area, partially, mourning my old life and the other part loving the new. Mattie has been so instrumental in helping me find triumph in where I’m at now. A lot of us are walking around depressed because we’re waiting for the “big things”. We’re too all or nothing. Mattie’s book truly is a guide on how to do it. Definitely one of my favorites. I can’t tell you how much I love Mattie James and her work.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck
By Mark Manson
Before this book became a pop culture phenomenon, it was a book I screamed to the rooftops about. The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck is a refreshing book on how to find happiness. But it’s really a guide on how to achieve anything you want in life by mastering challenges. Why challenges? Because that is all life is.
A series of challenges. And the better you get at mastering what to give and what not to give a fuck about, the easier it will be to create the success and life you’re looking for. Truly, this book is revolutionary. I get all the hype. 🥰
